The Void EP

Our next Dispatch LTD release comes from Russian producer Black Barrel, who brings us a sublime debut in ‘The Void EP’.

The Saint Petersburg resident encapsulates soulful simplicity in this four track EP, with the elements stripped right back and superfluous sounds eliminated to focus purely on the groove; the intensity cuts to the core, appearing almost effortless.

A skilful manipulation of lower frequencies allows each track to stand out, from the mischievous technicalities of ‘Void’ to the subtle melancholies of ‘Osteopath’.

A superb first release with us, we are excited to see what’s next from Black Barrel.
