Track 1-11 taken from the Ed’s Funky Diner original 7". This version is different to the version included as a bonus track on the original cd issue of Life's Hard And Then You Die. Previously unreleased on cd.

Track 1-14 taken from the B-side of the Driving Away From Home (Wicked Weather for Walking) 12". Previously unreleased on cd.
Track 1-15 taken from the Driving Away From Home (Jim's Tune) 7". This track did make an appearance in 1989 two-cd French compilation Les Inrockuptibles Un Printemps 89, but hasn't been issued on cd before, outside France.
