Xololanxinxo; (b. Daniel Rodriguez) represents a unique breed of hiphop lyricist stemming from the Los Angeles underground. At the young age of six he began rapping around clubs such as the Radiotron where future legends such as Ice T and The Syndicate frequented.

Early Years

In 1991, Xinxo and fellow emcee 2Mex formed the progressive hip hop duo Of Mexican Descent out of the groundbreaking Goodlife Cafe Open Mic that spawned such innovators as Freestyle Fellowship, The Pharcyde, Skee-Lo, and Jurassic 5. With underground classics such as “I Am Still” and “Money Is Meaningless” their debut release Exitos Y Mas Exitos became an underground hiphop classic.

Currently

Xololanxinxo has recorded numerous solo albums including Tapes from a Stolen Car (The Victim), Marketing the Monsters, “People Kill the Person, “Names”, and most recently “Addicted to Sorrow”. Today, Xololanxinxo continues to create innovative and provocative music, recent projects include a band called Toca that was created with psychedelic fusion musicians Anonymous Inc. and Tommy V.
